Based on a true story, “The Fishing Fairy” has evolved into a lyrical, read aloud picture book about a five year old girl in Iowa, who gets fishing lures from the tooth fairy when she loses a tooth. The next day, she goes fishing with her Mom, and Maddy loses her brand new green-flecked, double-jointed, treble-hooked, Mr. Big Bass fishing lure to a Big Mouth Bubba bass fish. What Maddy’s Mom is able to do next to calm down her upset daughter makes for a funny tale that is sure to entertain all ages. The manuscript is complete and not illustrated.
